Dr Luke Mirza
GDC Number: 203890
Luke moved to Bristol in 2005 from Yorkshire. After graduating from Bristol University he completed his vocational training year and quickly moved into fully private practice where he has remained ever since. His ethos in dentistry has always centered on the preservation of the patient’s natural teeth and trying to help people overcome their fear of the dentist with his calm manner and gentle approach to dental treatments.
Luke has been using modern digital technologies since 2012, restoring teeth with minimally invasive CADCAM restorations using Cerec technology. This has allowed him to provide his patients with custom made ceramic restorations within a single visit in most cases. He is now lecturing on the benefits and uses of digital dentistry in modern practice. He has been carrying out orthodontic treatment for his patients over many years using several systems. He is an experienced Invisalign provider. His experience with orthodontics and CADCAM dentistry facilitate my ability to drastically change peoples smiles, whilst maintaining a conservative approach. Further education and training is vitally important to keep up to date with modern technologies in dentistry. He is a regular attender of dental study clubs and courses, working with the British Academy of Cosmetic dentists and soon to be undertaking a master’s degree in implantology at the University of Bristol.
Outside of work, he lives in Bristol with his wife Ellie who is also a dentist. They moved back to Bristol in 2017 after spending 5 years in Kent. He is a keen football fan playing twice a week with friends and also an avid golfer.
